Value Within is a segment where youth and young adults can share their story by creating a video of what life is like having a parent or parents incarcerated. Participants will fill out the application provided below along with a consent form. A member of our team will contact you directly to go over how to create your video and the responses to the questions on the application. For your participation in sharing your story Locked In will provide goal setting, one on one college advising and guidance on the college admissions process along with any questions you have about college. Locked In has several team members that work in the higher education field that can guide participants through the many questions and steps of college. Locked In will also provide a letter of recommendation for the participants college application process.

Sharing your story not only helps you to know you are not alone in what you are going through, but it helps to break stereotypes and provide insight to parents on how important their presence is in a child’s life. We look forward to hearing and highlighting your story.

All participants will need to submit the application and the appropriate consent forms below. For submissions by anyone under the age of 18, both the minor consent and guardian consent forms must be completed and returned to [email protected].
